大批市民前晚到旺角「鳩嗚」途經通菜街潮聯小巴站頭，發現多輛小巴佔據了兩至三條行車線，於是當場向警員舉報，要求執法，編號34307的警員回應稱運輸

記者昨午到介乎旺角道及亞皆老街的一段通菜街，發現四條行車線中，其中三條都被潮聯小巴佔據。最左邊一條行車線為運輸署劃定的小巴泊車區，泊了十輛小巴， 行走往觀塘及往九龍灣路線。隔鄰兩條行車線則違例泊滿小巴，行走往土瓜灣及紅磡。只餘最右一條行車線讓其他車輛行駛。花園街街市對出的通菜街豎立了禁止停車路牌，但潮聯小巴依然長期停泊，一名小巴司機承認違泊已是幾十年的慣例，因運輸署劃給潮聯的泊車區範圍太少，有警察來趕才走。而旺角道街市門外亦有幾輛小巴長時間違泊。到下午4時，違泊小巴越聚越多，據記者統計達31輛。
潮 聯小巴申請禁制令的理據是旗下行走觀塘至奧運站的小巴線受阻，收入受損。但據小巴業人士踢爆，潮聯的觀塘線小巴只到通菜街，根本無受佔旺影響，奧運的小巴 站只用來泊車，潮聯小巴其實可泊在奧運，只是貪方便佔用通菜街。潮聯以往不時以罷駛等行動抗議警方抄牌，令警方一直投鼠忌器，不敢強硬執法。
